Bell Cornwall Recruitment is looking to recruit a Customer Service Team Leader to work for an expanding IT consultancy in the West Midlands - But NOT someone with a technical IT background.

The company offers a range of B2B IT products and services, and has a very busy and expanding IT Support Desk. This role will involve setting up procedures and implementing processes which will ensure that all service desk queries are dealt with in a speedy and efficient manner - in line with pre-defined SLA's

You will also be responsible for maintaining regular client communications ensuring 100% satisfaction at all times whilst maximising contract renewals.

It is critical that the successful person does NOT come from a technical IT background as the company want to ensure that this person remains distinct from the technical team and is not directly involved with finding a resolution.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a keen interest in IT to join a team offering support and progression.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Offering 1^st line support and escalating queries where necessary
• Confidently handling technical calls relating to hardware and software issues
• Dealing effectively with incidents

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months experience dealing with technical enquiries in a customer service environment and be comfortable in offering technical 1^st line IT solutions. You will have advanced knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite, in addition to relevant IT qualifications.

Working on the IT help desk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and offering solutions to technical enquiries/issues. This is a great opportunity to develop your IT career and utilise your technical expertise within a great team!
